Concierge Medical Services

When you call my office there will be no layer of recordings to navigate…only real people with a real concern for your health and well-being. All phone calls will be returned promptly. If your problem is “urgent,” I will make every effort to speak with you at the time of your call.

This will allow easy and direct communications for urgent medical problems that occur outside of our regular office hours. Ideally, I want to hear from you when you are ill or injured before you consider a visit to an emergency room or urgent care center. However, for life-threatening emergencies call 911 first.

You will receive a prompt (usually within 24 hours) response from me personally. Because email communication is not secure, please use discretion when choosing topics to discuss with me via this platform.

Due to my smaller patient panel, with the exception of your Comprehensive Annual Health Assessment, most office visits will be available on short notice, at your request, even for minor or non-urgent medical problems, regardless of medical necessity.

Office visits will start promptly and we will have more time to thoroughly address all of your questions and concerns at each visit. Comprehensive Annual Health Assessment appointments will be scheduled for 60 minutes and all other appointments for 30 minutes.

Office visits are best scheduled during normal office hours when the full complement of staff is available. However, should you require an occasional visit outside of my usual office hours, I will certainly do my best to accommodate you.

As part of my commitment to your long-term health and wellness, my philosophy is to educate you about your personal medical needs and risks. I will work with you to assess your level of fitness, provide weight management guidance and advice on leading a healthy lifestyle. In addition, I will work with you to support your emotional well-being and determine an appropriate personal wellness plan. This will allow you to take an active role in managing and maintaining your best health.

Should your out-of-town family or friends while staying with you become ill during a visit to the Atlanta area, I will be happy to see them in my office and assist with their medical care. I will treat them as if they were members of my practice.

Whether you are on a brief vacation or living some of the year in a second residence, I am available for consultation. However, if in my judgment you need to be seen by a local physician, you will be encouraged by me to seek medical attention. I will communicate with you directly, as well as with your treating physician, to coordinate your care on health issues that may arise.

Should you need to be hospitalized, I will remain involved in your care and continue to advocate on your behalf. I will make courtesy visits while you are at Piedmont Hospital and communicate regularly with the hospitalist.

A seasonal newsletter and other health insights on medical subjects of interest will be provided to you.

I will offer guidance on CDC recommended inoculations and/or precautions to be taken while traveling.

If a parent joins my concierge practice, I will be happy to care for his/her dependent children, ages 18 up to 26, without an additional membership fee.
